Ken Burgen

Principal – MEP

Ken, a fourth generation Topekan and founding principal, has over 33 years of experience in the field of Architectural Engineering and manages a share of the firm’s MEP Division. His experience includes two years in the manufacturing and construction industries, six years designing and managing construction projects for the State’s Division of Architectural Services, and over 25 years in consulting engineering. His project experience includes new construction, renovation, and remodel work. In 1980, Ken received a Top Five Award for the Trane Air Conditioning Clinic sponsored by the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has professional memberships with ASPE and ASHRAE and represents the company in their membership to The Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Topeka, Inc. Ken is a Past Master Counselor, Degree of Chevalier for the Order of DeMolay and is a Past Director of the Topeka chapter of Harley Owners Group. He and his wife Sherry have four sons and many, many grandchildren!
